Welcome to Exploring Wanderland, I have created a space in which I can share with you all my adventures and in some small way in hopes to inspire readers to travel.
I guess you could say I have had a very privileged life. My parents are travel enthusiasts and because of this I have been travelling abroad for months on end since I was 7 years old. That’s a long time travelling huh? I guess I have never not known what it was like to not have the travel bug, and for this I am so blessed to have been raised the way I was.
From city to city, and country to country, I have always had an endless desire for history, architecture and a curious passion for the unknown. Ever since I can remember, I have been helping friends and their families take trips across the world, and if asked or not, I always give input into their upcoming trip. There is so much of this world to see, and when I travel I wake up at 6am-7am to be able to experience as much of a place as I can.
I am currently 20 years old and have taken two solo trips, one being Europe and the other being Asia. As of January 2017, I will be abroad and travelling full-time for seven months. Apart from this, I am also a full time student studying two degrees (law and Journalism) alongside two jobs of mine. I guess you could say I like to be busy, and busy I am almost all day everyday.
I love to be a know it all when it comes to travel, so I hope this side of me is effective through this blog so I can reach out to a wider audience besides just my friends and family.
“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it” – Benjamin Mee.
